Wow

Another very cute tag from Missy for breast cancer awareness month.

I took my meds last night and slept until 11:30 today,  Wow, knocked me out.   Still having the pain, but so far no nausea.   Of course I haven't eaten and don't feel the slightest bit hungry  but I am drinking coffee and it is staying down.   I might make some broth for lunch and see how that sits.

The pain  I am having is more like what I think colic must feel like for babies.  Crampy spasmic pain mostly on my right side which gets very sharp and painful at times.  Anyone out there who has had this, is that what it felt like?  Maybe this is something else?

I am in a panic thinking about what to do for work.  If I go and have to come home again it is a 2nd occurance.  You are only allowed 6 sick occurances a year.   If I am off for 5 days in a row, it is still 1 occurance,  if I am off 5 days every other day, it is 5 days.  So if I go to work today and just fall apart tonight I will be using another occurance.  However using 12 hours of PTO, (paid time off), for today and 8 from last night severely cuts into my small bank.   I have a high pain tolerance and would have stayed at work last night if it had just been the pain, but the throwing up is just to much.  What to do, what to do.  I need the money.  Why do I always have this happen on my working week!

So now after my pity party I think something funny is called for.

You know you're really broke when...

American Express calls and says: "Leave home without it!"

Your idea of a 7-course meal is taking a deep breath outside a restaurant.

You're formulating a plan to rob the food bank.

You've rolled so many pennies, you've formed a psychic bond with Abe Lincoln.

Long distance companies don't call you to switch anymore.

Your rob Peter...and then rob Paul.

You finally clean your house, hoping to find change.

You think of a lottery ticket as an investment.

Your bologna has no first name.

You give blood everyday... just for the orange juice.

Sally Struther's sends you food.

McDonald's supplies you with all your kitchen condiments.

At communion you go back for seconds.

You wash your toilet paper.

You have to save up to be poor.

On thanksgiving your dad would bring home a picture of a thanksgiving meal.

You owe yourself money.

You are sterilizing your urine for reconsumption.

Your imaginary friend has more money than you.

I don't know what I'd do about work.  Probably stay home knowing me.  When I don't feel good I'm home...pay or no pay.  Then, I live on rice for awhile.
Hope you feel better soon.
Love the joke, too!~~~Pam
