Work

Work said they would come get me if needed.  They have declaired Iowa a disaster area.  We got alot more snow then they said we would.  About 8 more inches on top of the 10 we already had plus they think we will get at least 3 more. Top that off with 50 miles gusts and it is a bad situation.  Some nice person went by with a 4 wheeler with a blade and did my driveway.  By the time I got dressed to go thank him he was gone.  Now wasn't that nice!

So I am bringing things in case I don't get home for awhile.  They will supply tooth paste and things, but I want a change of clothes and my PJ's.  I hope it isn't going to turn out I get stuck there, but it is better to be prepared.  Rick still thinks he will drive me.  We have an all wheel drive so it should be OK.  If not we walk.  Sigh.  My son works 35 miles away from here.  I hope he doesn't try to go in but he won't commit.  He is worried he'll lose his job.  How could they expect him to come in.   I HAVE to go.  I have live patients to take care of.  He has milk.  If it is late one day to bad.  I will be worried sick.  So anyway, I am off.  Wish me luck.

Good luck on the journey to work Julie.  I hope your son doesn't have to go out in all that snow.  I can't believe how deep it is!  Please take care of yourself.  I am worrying for you now that you have told me how deep it is.  Jeanie

I did hear about the mess in Iowa and thought of you.  We had a few spring like days but it did snow again last night.  Most of my snow has actually melted away.  There was only an inch overnight so I'm not complaining.  I hope your son is ok and was able to stay at home.  Chris
