It's coming.....slowly but surely it's coming.....Spring. The first tender leaves push through the dirt. The buds getting ready to lose their protective shells, my poppies are coming alive. It won't be long now.

Mine are up higher than yours so Spring must have arrived here that bit sooner than where you are Julie. The Cherry Blossom is out in profusion and so is the Forsythia. Poor old plants...they have been lulled into a false sense of warmth. We had sleet, snow and hailstorms yesterday and black ice this morning. I wish the weather would make up its mind..don't you? I so love your photography. Jeanie
It is bursting forth, isn't it?! I just looked at some pictures of my yard last year, and it is hard to believe how beautiful it was, and I am wondering if it will look that good again this year. I went to the garden center today and bought a half flat of dianthis and a couple of little boxwood bushes. I am hoping it does not rain tomorrow so I can get them into the ground. I loved the pictures!
Things are finally starting to come alive here as well. I'm actually pretty excited to see it. Tired of the blah browns that have been around for so long now.
I am going through so many Jland withdrawels. Living at my parents temporarily while looking for work, and Internet time isnt as much as it was. Mi padre seems to think I have an addiction,lol...I do, but hell its better than partying and doing something stupid. Anyway, of course I marvel at your photography. I loved these close up's and how the back ground was faded in some of these. I have no idea how you do this but I smiled at all of them. Thanks woman! ~Raven
