Sunny and 82 yesterday, 60's and rainy today. Everytime it rains it gets greener out. I was looking at my shrubs in the front that the sweet deer so nicely pruned for me. I think 4 of them might have had it. Darn pests. At $25 a bush that gets expensive replacing them. Since I planted them originally to cut down on the dust from the road, at this point it should only take about 20 years for them to get big enough to do the job.
Went to the mailbox today and they fixed the lock. I have my nice coffee pot. This sweet pot was made by Hall China I think in the 50's and is called the Waverly with June flower decal. Isn't it sweet. Love the deco look of the lid.
Well my MIL has an appointment with the doctor in the morning. Hopefully they can figure out whats wrong but I really have little hope. Everytime she goes they just give her more pills which make her more confused and sick. I am going this time to insist they do at the least an upper GI and maybe a scope. She has company today so is doing better. Part of her problem may be depression. She won't hardly leave the house and do anything so unless we go there she just sits there day after day. I tried to get her into the senior center or the library to play scrabble with other seniors but have I mentioned she's very stubborn.
True to form of having something weird going on every few weeks I had a weird thing happen today. Happened last week also. I got chest pain which I get fairly often. But what was weird was my left arm went really numb. Lasted about 5 minutes and then the feeling slowly came back. Always something weird, LOL Does anyone know what Sugar's room number is in the hospital? If you do you can email her well wishes and they deliver it to her room. Go to http://www.nkch.org/PatientService-Services/Index.htm
If you have her room number please let me know.

It was beautiful here today, I turned the heat off and opened my kitchen door to my side porch. I love having fresh air in the house once again. I love your teapot, so glad they finally fixed your mailbox. I hope they can do something to help your MIL. I hope the pain in your chest and arm isn't a warning for a heart condition. I'm keeping you in my prayers on the smoke just to be on the safe side. (Hugs) Indigo
Julie please..please... have a check up for your health's sake. I don't like the sound of the pains you have been getting. Neither should you. Your MIL should be kidnapped an taken bodily down to the seniors or the library and left to her own devices after that. What she is doing is habit forming...not going out and mixing with folks. She would perk up no end if she got intothat good habit. Please get a check up????? Jeanie
T'were I you, I think I'd mention that to a doctor.... and since you work around some, maybe that won't be to hard. Shoot me over an email if you get her room number, please.

That really is a sweet coffee pot. I'm glad that they fixed the lock and retrieved your treasure.

Chest pain and numbness...lets see....you're a nurse....and I can't tell you anything you don't already know.
I hope you're ok.
