few pictures

A wonderful day outside.  The geese were flying, the beer was flowing and the band was playing.

Putting a hot poker into the Bock beer carmalizes the sugar giving it a unique taste and smell.

I loved the one of the Goose in flight.  That was super!  The greyhound one was special too....I am a dog lover.  Looks like you have had a great day out.  I'd love to taste the beer after it has been caramelised....as kids my sister and I used to caramelise sugar with a red hot poker and then eat the burnt candy it turned into afterwards..Its a wonder we never set fire to the house...Lol!  Memory Lane.... sigh!       Jeanie

For us aliens everywhere, thank you for sharing this earth tradition of jabbing a hot poker into a beer. Noticing your picture, I wonder if "misses" increase with beer consumption. <grin>

Love those pictures, especially the geese. I love canadian geese, they are such beautiful birds. When I lived in Illinois when I was a child, they would cover our pond and make such noise, but we loved them. To watch them fly in that V formation, was a sight. Just think they are great. Looks like you all had a great time. Have a nice week.
God Bless,
Liz in Va.
