Good Morning

My headache is down to a dull roar today.  Much better then the stabbing, don't move my head day yesterday.  Since I am still planning to have a doctorless year....and it is proving to be more of a problem then I had thought it would, I am still doing the nursing thing and doctoring myself.  Yesterday the allergy medicine didn't work so today I am going to try some tylenol with sinus.  I will eventually hit on the cure or die trying by Golly, LOL.

Rick has been really stressed by his mother of course.  I think that is why his blood pressure has been elevated and yesterday he was in A-fib again.  We are just falling apart, LOL.  Nothing a good week of bike riding wouldn't cure.

My MIL  has already called today and is worry about the tests on Tuesday.  Maybe she should cancel because she doesn't think she could possibly drink all the liquid they want her to drink.  They are giving her half lite which isn't as much so hopefully she will be fine.  Monday will be a bad day because she has to be on clear liquids all day and take the bowel prep.  I get off work at 7:30 am and know I will get at least 8 calls with questions.  Since I am sending my husband over there to make sure she does it right half of them will be from him.  Lord give me the strength.

Today I am doing all the things I didn't feel up to yesterday.  Getting my TB test which is required for my job, taking my test, getting my meds and my MIL bowel prep and bringing her supper.  Rick made some wonderful stew, so rich and thick.  If she can't eat that she is in trouble.

It is raining out again.  Read about all the tornadoes.  Hope everyone is OK.  I think it will be a bad year for it this year.

I hope it's not too hard on you.  They both depend on you though.  They look up to you.  And you know they are scared. Especially your MIL.  This year is starting out kinda bad, eh?
Hope you feel better and are able to bike ride soon.

Love the tag at the top of the page Julie...wooohooo!

I remember our family doctor, after he had long been retired, getting waylaid by someone in our local supermarket.  He was telling Doc all about his aches and pains.  My old Doc saw me, grabbed my attention by calling over to me like a long lost friend to get away from this person, only to recount to me how he had just got back from India and had some virulent stomach bug which, between him and our local chemist, they decided on a kill or cure treatment to get shot of it. Sounds like  you medical folks are all the same...no time to be sick.. no time to be sick... let's kill or cure....what are you all like?
I'm definitely not letting any of you get your hands on my Bryan again.....Hahahaha!
Hope you and hubby stay well and soon get to zoom around the lanes on your bikes.   Jeanie

One of these days I'm going to kidnap you and help you escape LOL! I wish I knew what to say about your MIL.....all I can say is she does tend to make things worse than they have to be huh??? Poor hubby doesn't know any better, he loves his mom, and well he's a guy, they tend to fall apart without us holding them together. I think a good bike ride would do you both wonders, away from phone calls and someone calling to ask about the obvious. (Hugs) Indigo

It sounds like you need a break from all this! I hope they can find out what's wrong with your MIL and cure her. I'm hoping you'll be able to get out on your bike and cycle your cares away! I hope the weekend goes well for you and isn't too bad at work. Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

LOL...the elderly are just so trying sometimes.  I sure hope I'm not but fear I will be because my kids think I'm half-baked now.  Hope Rick is ok and can handle the stress of his mom.  Glad your headache is improving.  Chris

Going backwards here, but getting caught up...LOL.  Yep, a good ole bike ride would help...I know you both love it.  Hope the rain clears up...we are going to get some later today and all day tomorrow.  Hope your MIL's fears are put to rest when she has her test done...good on the TB test, which you said was required.  Hope your having a lovely weekend...hugs,
Joyce

Well, did you get any bike riding done?  We had a fairly nice weekend in my neck of the woods.

Oh poor you, no wonder you have a headache.  You know, whenever the barametric pressure drops too much I have headaches.  Worst one I ever had was the May 3rd 1999 F5+ tornado that ripped right through Moore, OK where I lived.  I also get sinus headaches and when the mold is really high.  I hope you are feeling better by now.  De ;)
