Feeling Better

I am feeling better thank goodness.   I think your right De, it must have been stomatitis because I can't believe I would have gotten this sick.  Anyway my temp broke during the night and I feel better.  I am doing the peroxide and mylanta on the canker sore and they aren't as painful.  Man I hate those things.

It is almost hard to believe we had as much snow as we did because about 10 inches has melted already and the rest is going fast.  I sure hope this is the last of it.  I am ready for flowers and green grass.

Rick is making me some hot cereal.  That should hit the spot.  I have been eating a small handful of walnuts a day and eating oatmeal trying to get my cholesterol down.  Now I have to start working on the weight loss and exercise again.  My knee continues to feel better and better.  Running bothers it but it didn't stay sore from it like it did.  Just might mend after all.  Well, breakfast is ready, by all.  Thanks for all you kind comments on my friend.  I haven't lost anyone close for awhile.

I have been listening to all the talk about how bad our VA hospitals are.  Like this is new news.  Anyone remember the movie Article 99?  It was about this exact thing.  Its an old movie.  Whatever the reason I am glad they may finally do something about it.  I feel the man they fired was just following orders and is going to be their official scapegoat.  This is exactly why we DO NOT want the government taking over our health care.

So happy to see you feel better...love the bowling tags...so cute.  and the photo also...beautiful.
Hot cereal, I had some oatmeal myself...this morning..yum.  Bet you get more snow than we do...1 inch to three here tomorrow.
Tired of it now...bet you are too.
Sorry, never saw the movie...there's so much in the news now about Walter Reed...my hubby was born there. They sure need to clean it up, get things right!
Hope you have a great evening...

I'm glad you are feeling better.  Hope the knee feels better soon.  I hurt my knee while I was in RN school. I had been playing volleyball and jumped up to hit the ball hard over the net. When I landed my knee SNAPPED and I couldn't walk right away. Well, I didn't have health insurance and couldn't tell the RN program I was hurt or I'd be booted.  I did have the Doc check it over, and he thought it would heal ok.  I had to hide my injury. It was AWFUL 'cause it hurt me all the time. It hurt for TWO years!  All thru RN school!  Finally, it stopped hurting, and I never really found out what the real problem was.  Sometimes, they do heal on their own.  I hope yours does.

So glad you are feeling better Julie and that the rotten snow is going too. I thought about your mouth symptoms and I get a mild form of what you get when I forget to wash my tomatoes, which is rare.  I wondered afterwards if it was the insecticide they wash over them in the hothouses where they grow.   Just a thought.   Jeanie

Glad you are starting to feel better.  The VA hospitals...different person; most likely same song.  There are a handful of VA Medical Centers that are involved in research and are huge; not many though.

So glad you are beginning to feel better.  Why is it that something warm to eat is so soothing?  Comfort foods.  Wow 10 inches of snow already melted!  And I love the picture.  The butterfly is gorgeous.  Did you take it?  Knees are horrible to injury and forever to heal.  I've had knee problems for years.  I fell back in 2002 on some ice walking in the parking lot at work...workers comp.  But after some physical therapy got better.  Still have problems now and again.  Hope you continue to feel better!  De ;)
