AOL Pictures

AOL pictures is down.  Since yesterday.  I use that feature so much and have like a dozen pictures of ornaments I want to download.  Sigh.  Hope they fix it soon.

Not much going on today.  I am going to finally get my packages mailed off along with paying one of my clients.  Rick is still messing with the finishing touches on the tree.  He will spend the rest of the time it is up moving things around and bending branches.  By the time it comes to take it down it will be perfect.

Rick and I have been married 33 years.  Although he told me last week we got married in 1974 so have only been married 32 years.  But the man was wrong.  First we spend 4 years celebrating our wedding on the wrong date and now he wants me to get the year wrong, LOL.

Conversation with my husband this morning.

Where is the......

right in the left side of the middle drawer in the kitchen.

For supper should we......

I have all the stuff ready in the fridge

when should we.......

I suppose this week if we want them to get there for Christmas

Did you call........

no, maybe later, I want to relax while I talk to him.

Did you......

Yes, last week when you first asked me.

But how.....

You said....

But I didn't mean.....

I know but .......

We haven't had to actually finish a sentence in years.  I almost always know what he wants for supper because I start thinking of it and visa versa.   I will be thinking of a song and he starts humming it.  It is scary sometimes.  What will I do if something happens to him.  Will I never get to the end of my sentence again?  After this many years I amonly complete with him as my other part.  Scary.

Tomorrow is his appointment.  I decided whether they like it or not I am going in with him.  He won't understand half of what is said so I will never get a complete idea of what went on.  Hope it is something they can fix.

I am not sure of the job change now.  It sounded great, but when I ask about the military hospital openings they him and haw.  Is that spelled right?  They can offer me dozens of jobs all over the country and out of the country, but the one thing I am really interested in I can't get a definate answer to.  I am not leaving the security of my job for just any traveling job.  I am too close to retirement.  They do have wonderful bennies though.  I think the scary part is I am maxed out where I am and get the full package you get from being at a place forever.  Full vacation package, full retirement.  It will take something special to get me to leave.  I thought this might be it but it doesn't sound like it after all.  Sigh  It has been fun to hear what they will offer me.  They really liked my resume.  I look really good on paper, LOL.

Well my very slow other half is finally almost ready to go.  Take it easy everyone.  I get my haircut today, no more shaggy dog look.  Yippy.

Ken and I do that finishing sentences a lot. Sometimes one of us will say something and the other will say I was thinking about that a couple of minutes ago. Hope you make the right decision about your job. Hope he gets good news at the Drs tomorrow,

I hope the new job pans out for you.  It would have to be an awesome job for you to consider losing out on your maxed out vacations and such from your current job.  Thanks for the heads up on the AOL Pictures thing.  I will have to see if FTP space is affected with mine.

Good idea to accompany your hubby to the doctor to get the full scoop!  Unfortunately, the traveling nurse is probably just that, TRAVELING...everywhere!  Don't you think its kinda deceitful to advertise a position then not have it available, or at least no info on it??  Good luck with AOL!

LOL...you and your hubby remind me of the way my mon and dad were.  I think after years, you almost merge totally together.  I can't open pictures from AOL in journals.  I thought it was my PC but I see now it's AOL once again.  Julie, sometimes the grass does look greener on the other side but it's always fun to dream about it.  HUGS Chris
