Joy in J-land

Well the mood in J-land is joyous this morning as alerts seem to be working again for all.   It is a good thing.   Joy here also as I am off work again until next week on Friday.   I am always thankful for my job, and thankful for my time off.

We might be going to Iowa City for a brew fest this weekend.   We haven't been in awhile and it is fun to taste the new brews and see what is out there.   My husband was a brewer so he likes to compare the different beers.  Driving up there this time of year is so pretty also.  But......we are doing the bike ride Wed and I am not sure if we can afford to out of town trips and 3 days in hotels.  But life is short and you do have to live it right!

I had a great night at work.  Such nice patients and no emergencies.  We had lots of time to spend training the new nurses which was nice.  We get them trained and they leave but for awhile staffing is really good.  Nursing always has a big turn over.

I am loving the cool mornings and nights but beautiful days.      I definately will be doing a ride today and I have to see if I need to stock my shelves at the antique mall.  I got some great cup and saucers and the prettiest little hall teapot.

The above is some jade trees I planted in some old canisters I had.  They are moon and stars amberina canisters that had chips in the lids.  Since I couldn't sell them I thought plants would look really good in them.  And they do!

You should go to Brew Fest.  Embrace life.  And your imagination to think outside of the box and plant the jade in those jars is impressive.  They look great in there! Love it!
