As Promised, mommy Robin

You can see in the 2nd picture the nest she made last year.  This wreath had dried corn and grass in it.  The deer ate all the corn and the birds stold most of the grass.  I was going to take it down but now it will stay until the babies are gone.   I have a sign up telling people to use the back door.  The last picture is my long awaited pear tree blooms.  Spring is finally here in Iowa.

Nice pic of the robinand the wreath. I would leave the nest and the wreath up for next year maybe she will return and it's nice to hear birds chirping outside your door.Plus you can watch the baby robins hatch each year.

Neat pics of the Robin.     It's funny that the deer came up to your door and ate the corn off of the wreath.
Once we were well into our spring, we had an artic blast and it killed everything.   Glad it's getting pretty for you...you need it right now.

beautiful pics.  how did you get the oval to the buds in previous entry?  hopefully, no cold snaps will come your way and kill the beautiful blooms.

Awww, how sweet she looks. I wouldn't have the heart to tear that nest down even when she leaves it. I hope there is no more frost in your area to get you pears like it did ours. I love all your pics. Thanks for sharing. Helen

Isn't it amazing how they build those nests.  Enjoyed the pictures.

Aw, Julie, the momma robin and the nest are so cute.  I don't blame you for not bothering them.  Wow, pear blossoms...we are just starting to have things sprout in Pa.  Chris

Funny how the birds can just make a home anywhere.  Nice shot of the pear tree blossoms.  Once again, I missed the opportunity to photograph mine.
