A new Tourament is starting!

Kellen will be starting a new tournament and registration is Sunday.  If you haven't played before check it out. A little brain exercise is just as important as body exercise.  Lots of fun and that young man comes up with some difficult questions.  Check it out.

I am finding it disturbing that my knee is still swollen, though not as much as this morning.  I will definitely take it easier at work if possible.  It always seems like when I have to take it easy though we have the worse nights, LOL.  Lots of emergencies.  I told them last night I couldn't do the code team duties and I think I will have to stick with that until I see the doc on Thursday.  However I think I had better call them Monday and let him know it has gotten worse.  I am bringing my biofreeze and brace to work with me tonight.

Cold Cold Cold here today.  When it is this cold even though the sun is shining brightly you can look outside at the crispness and know it is cold.  Taking a deep breath out there is like inhaling ice crystals.  Burrrrrr.

I just got up and the house is quiet.  Where did everyone go?  Its kind of nice.  I wake up slow and some days the second I wake up Rick is talking away a mile a minute.  Darling......let me have my coffee first.  LOL.   Rick is heavy into world and political events and keeps me updated on all the horrible things that are going on, LOL.  No wonder he has high blood pressure.  I like to  keep on top of things but not live and  breath by talk radio.  Always scares the crap out of me and makes me want to curl up in a little ball and pull my covers over my head.

Well, someone just got home.  Bye all.

Get yourself a nice hot cup of coffee, put your feet up and get ready for a long conversation now that you are not alone. ;)))))))))
Stay warm and be ready for the real cold cold....I fear some heavy snow and winds. Hugs :)))))Doreen

Some days I just can't face the real world, and I don't listen to or read any of the bad news....

I hope your knee is better soon. Maybe it's a sprain that will heal all by itself? Let's hope so.
I don't watch the news every day.  Sometimes I just don't wanna hear it all.
Stay warm and safe.

I have known people that live and breath politics and world events.  I'm not one of them.  I prefer my world unencumbered by such information.

I do hope that swelling goes down...hope you have a great Sunday.
I have a hubby who is deep into the political arena...his BP has been known to rocket up too.  It's freezing here also, looking forward to spring, for sure...hugs and love.

I also wake up very slowly and need that first cup of coffee...I call it waking up gently.  I usually go online with my first cup and try to do a journal catch up.  After about a half an hour, I'll put the early news on.
My BF is retired now and calls me at work a couple of times a day to tell me all the "wonderful" news.  Does the frigid weather also negatively affect your knee's progress?  Chris

Oh, thats not easy either. Sometime its not good food to be in the heart of turmoil around the world all of the time. I really feel, I should take a break from it myself. Julie, are you taking it easy with your knee? My sister had surgery 3 months ago and still needs another 2 months before she can be on it. With your knee and the heat, something will come your way that is good. I know these things can come in waves but there is something good around the corner. I am sitting and waiting for my corner too. I will stop by more frequently. I need to know how your doing. I also need to take a youtube break. I have such issues with that. ~Raven
