I just got a call that my MRI will be tonight at 6 pm.  Weird time but whatever.  The bad thing is I won't get to know until Wed. doctor appointment what it says.  In the old days I could have found out at work. It is my record after all.  Now you have to wait.  The darn thing was throbbing and burning all night.  So to take my mind off it today I finished my tournament questions.  Boy some tough ones this time so far.  Where does that young man come up with these?

I am getting ready to go to the post office.  Liz your package is on the way, and the library as I book I ordered came in.  Then need to get groceries.  They are really predicting some terrible weather so need to stock up just in case.  If your prepared it won't come in my experience, LOL.  After that I will spend the day listing some more things for the shop.  Things have been going well considering I just opened.  I have about 200 more things to list but will do it slowly.  Who knows when I will be working again so I had better do it while I can.

Here is another funny someone emailed me. I am off the weekend for sure so hope to catch up on my alerts.

What is Amore?
When the moon hits your eye,
Like a big pizza pie,
That's amore.
When an eel bites your hand,
And that's not what you planned,
That's a moray.
When our habits are strange,
And our customs deranged,
That's our morés.
When your horse munches straw,
And the bales total four,
That's some more hay.
When Othello's poor wife,
Becomes stabbed with a knife,
That's a Moor, eh?
When your sheep go to graze,
In a damp marshy place,
That's a moor, eh?
When your boat comes home fine,
And you tie up her line,
That's a moor, eh?
When you ace your last tests,
Like you did all the rest,
That's some more "A"s!
When on Mt. Cook you see,
An aborigine,
That's a Maori.
Alley Oop's homeland has,
A space gun with pizzazz,
That's a Moo ray.
A comedian ham,
With the name Amsterdam,
That's a Morey.
When your chocolate graham,
Is with marshmallows crammed,
That s'more, eh.
When you've had quite enough,
Of this dumb rhyming stuff,
That's "No more!", eh?

Sorry to hear you have been having some bad pain and throbbing, I hope the MRI comes out showing no major damage in there. I had Mom for her MRI yesterday, now realize she is 90 and never heard of an MRI before, they told her no jewelry or metal of any kind, why she says, because of the giant magnet and how it could do damage if you have any implants or things like that...well about 5 minutes later she was getting nauseated, feeling dizzy, almost to the point of passing out, so weak she couldn't move, they came for her with a wheelchair and proceeded to take her to the rest room then set her up for the MRI...poor woman worked herself up into a panic attack because she thought they were going to lay her on the table and run her thru a shredder!!!!!  Once out and in the car she was FINE!
Today she had a regular Dr. appt and they said "bloodwork" we go again.."where will you be taking the blood from...yadda yadda panic attack not only is she taking meds for her diabetes and alzheimers but they put her on zanax for the panic attacks!!!  Amazing what the mind can do when fear of the unknown hits home!  Good luck and I will pray your bad weather turns the other way!!! Hugs :))))))))) good luck on the shop :)

I hope your MRI comes out ok. And shows no permanent damage.  Sheesh!  Hope the weather isn't too bad for you.  Like you said, if you prepare it won't come.
Have a good weekend.

Good luck with the MRI.  One of our local hospitals now has an MRI machine that is completely open, with a plasma TV for your wait.
