More snow

Above is some of my collection.  I am going to make my store logo with that picture as I think it is a nice grouping.  Aren't they lovely and all McCoy.

We are having a heat wave today.  25 so far and climbing and it is only 8

They are however predicted 4 inches of snow so I can't get too excited.  I am guessing there are what....45 days left of winter give or take.  This too shall pass.  Quickly I hope.  My furnace is still squeeking along and we might be able to make it too warmer weather yet before he replaces the part.  I sure hope so.  I have a friend who gave me the name of a local man who does repairs on the side that might be able to get us a furnace at a good price.  I should at least price them so I know how much it would be.

My son and grandkids might get to visit next month.  I am keeping my fingers crossed, but won't believe it until I have them in my arms again.  It has been so long.  This is the longest I have ever gone without seeing my son or grandbabies.  He would like to move back but unfortunately his wife is pretty happy there.  I know it would save them money to live here as they wouldn't need daycare and its less expensive.  Hopefully I will win that lottery and we will all live close together.  One of these days I will have to start buying tickets.  Can't win if you don't buy.  I always see it as a way the government gets more money out of you though so I have a hard time buying them.

Not much to say about my knee.  I am getting pretty darn tired of it  I  tell you.  I squat to get something off the floor and the pain is bad enough I have trouble getting up.  I told Rick I may need a rail by the stool to help myself up if this pain doesn't get better. I didn't think I would need something like that for at least 30 more years  And I was down on my knees cleaning something up I spilled and let me tell you, it was like crawling through broken glass.  So this is really getting old.  They do say the bike riding is good exercise for the knee, but I hate a stationary bike.  So boring.  But I will do what it takes to get over this.  But I do feel pretty bad going on about this.  Here people in J-land have serious problems and I go on an on.  Just ignore me.

I sure hope it doesn't take them long to decide on the store.  I suppose they will make the decision on my long stretch at work.  I want to know NOW.  Patience is not a virtue I have.

Well I will close on a bad joke.

What has wings but can't fly?

A dead bird.   See...... I told you it was bad, LOL.

I love your collection of McCoy. I have three pieces myself. I can't believe I had an 8 piece table setting of that long ago, including the mugs but the last time I got a set of dishes Correll I gave the dishes to the Salvation Army not knowing they were worth anything. I now have a turquoise bowl that belonged to my mother and two self watering flower pots. The pots are sitting out on the porch needing cleaning up LOL. Helen

I think that picture is just right Julie.  You are a clever photographer; and collector too.  These pieces are beautiful, especially the teapots. Sorry you still have the grumps about your knee...a problem shared is a problem halved...lean on us and have a good old moan.   I hope your family get to visit with you....I know how you feel about that.  My son and daughter live a distance from us too.  Take care 'old thing'  Lol! That's going to be a great logo!   very pretty pic.    I hope the son and and babies get to visit, after all.   I would have a very difficult time if my babies moved away, and she talks about getting out of our lil po-dunk town from time to time.     And....your knee is very important....like you said, do what you gotta do to get it better.

Really beautiful pieces and your design is an eyecatcher :)))
I hope your knee eases up and heals quickly for you. Amazing to think how fragile our body parts are and how easily they can fall out of place or break! Mom has her bone n joint doc appt. on Friday, I need a doctor for the back I pulled out lifting her out of bed! It's almost like the blind leading the blind here, someone is always on pain meds or muscle relaxers! Yes I agree about the bad things other Jlanders have on their plates too! I just took a # when I got out <tried> of bed this morning! Now my hubby has 2 to tend to :)))) BenGay where are you?!
:))))Happy Monday <ugg> Doreen <for Valentines Day I want my back pain gone>

I really like the picture you took of all of your pottery.  Very pretty and it will make a nice pic for your store.
I hope your knee starts feeling better soon.  Isn't it amazing how in just a second, one wrong move, and we get hurt!  One time I strained my neck and shoulder from picking up a full coffee pot wrong!  The Doc said that's really common!  Who knew??
Stay warm. I hope it doesn't snow too much.

I think the skier needs an extention cord.  Hey, you aren't the only one that gets to tell a bad joke.

Your pottery is beautiful, so pretty the way you arranged it. I hope your knee starts to feel better soon, I've had that kneeful of broken glass stuff happen to me. Funny but I was in a car crash years ago and a year later I was feeling my knee, it had a hard lump in it, I scratched it and the skin broke, out popped part of the car windshield! Whinge all you want, we'll listen to you! I hope you get to see your grand children. Jeannette xx

OH, I know you miss your son. So, hard. my 3 are away now for almost 9 months. I sware the oxygen just feels like them all around me. Jules, I hope your knee gets better. Your description sure made it very clear, its painful pain. 4 months without much heat, is going to be rough. Oh boy, I hope a miracle can cover that need soon. ~Raven

LOL at the joke.  That is a totally lovely grouping you have.  Hope you get to see your son and the grandbabies.  I never buy lottery tickets.  I have occasionally but never won squat so I quit donating to the cause.  Chris
