Perfect days.

My perfect days don't seem to cost me much money.  They are just something I like and feel free in.  After talking to MIL and finding her having a good day we decided to have a day we enjoy.  So we packed the bikes and hit the trails.

Today I used some of my sons Cytomax.  What a great difference that made.  It is a energy, replacement drink for riding.  I had no respiratory problems today.  We first rode the trail above and then did the one at Adams I like.  The miles went by and the weather which was in the 80's was perfect.  It was easier today.  My muscles responded.  The only problem was some butt burn I call it.  You need to get callouses in the right places, LOL and I didn't have them this year.  Booty pain galore.  It gets better the more you ride.  You all wanted to hear about my booty burn right......Ha.

Anyway after 11 miles we came home and showered.  That feels so good when your hot and sweaty and then we went to the art splash by the river.  Saw a hypnotist, a magician, exotic animals, old friends and good music plus art work I loved but couldn't afford.  It was wonderful spending the day outdoors with each other.  Perfect weather.  So we rode 11 miles and walked 8 miles.  Why am I heavy?

We ended the day at Sweet Fannies with a wonderful Almond Chicken Salad.  Heaven.  It had chicken on spinach with banana's and raspberry dressing with blue cheese sprinkled in it.  Can you say yummy.  I can.  Also drank Goose Island Honkers Pale ale.  Perfect with the food.

Now  I am sitting around the campfire, listening toJazz and drinking a nice Zinfindel.  Perfect ending.

Do you all realize the rarity of a perfect day?  Do you hold it in your hand and gaze at it in wonder?  Do you cherish it?   For you should.   Each and every day.  Days that could end tomorrow.  Make sure they don't end with regrets.   End every day saying thank you for this day.  THIS DAY.  And if you get a tomorrow......start all over again making it a perfect day.

So it was a perfect day.  No worries Mate.  Hope everyone had as great a day.

Your day sounded perfect, I'm glad you managed to get out on your bikes. I've had quite a few perfect days in my life, it's so easy to take them for granted in the rush of life. Think we all need to sit back and relax more often, the world won't stop just because we take a break! Enjoy Sunday! Jeannette xx

It really does sound like the perfect day, and I really like the way you describe it.  Nice to see the deer making a cameo in the entry.
