Making a Marble

this is a great example of how they make the beautiful marbles I collect and I why I call them small works of art.  Because they are!

No wonder those things are so high priced. A lot of work goes into each one. Thanks for sharing the video. Hubby loves to see things made so I am sending it on to him through utube. Helen

Wow, amazing.  No wonder they cost what they do.  Thanks for sharing.  Chris

Oh my gosh.  Now I know why I love marbles.  Those handcrafted marbles were the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life.  They were so intricate.  A true work of art and handcraft.  Which I had some.  Are those the same kind you have from that company?  And which company is it?

I've said this before, but this process is quite amazing.  I never really knew what all went into making marbles before you opened my eyes to it.

Fantastic!  Now I know what I missed when I went to Wetherigg Potteries here in Lakeland on Monday.  Sadly there was not much to see, as the potteries have changed hands for now, but there had been a glass blower there who made marbles.  I thought I was going to have a lovely photoshoot for you Julie.  I must go back when they are up and running to see them at work.
This was so interesting!
Thanks for that.
