It's Thursday, right!
Yesterday while Rick talked to his BIL I did housework. I was long overdue rearranging my dust. Got my house nice and sparkly for awhile at least. And you know what? My wrist is better! Oh is was a little sore after washing the kitchen floor but nothing like it had been. I couldn't have hand washed the kitchen floor before. So the steroid is kicking in. What a huge relief that is. Wonder what will go out next, LOL Maybe I will actually get a few days before my body realizes its not torturing me and starts something else on the road to destruction.
Today we are going to MIL's. She is having some good days again after the weekend being so bad. I have to wonder why it was so bad while we were gone. I am just a suspicious person these days I guess. Anyway I am glad she is having some good days again. I brought the pictures of my sons race and she enjoyed looking at them. Today I am bring a newspaper article that mentions him. She will get a kick out that.

I am feeling better today. Lots of issues that have been ignored and left on the back burner to stew have been brought forward and addressed. I am kind of a head on face problems type of person and this skirting around issues was driving me nuts. Everyones cards are on the table now, so there is no need for pretense. The air feels cleaner to me that way, LOL. I also think it was good for my husband. He tends to keep things inside which isn't healthy. And now BIL knows we know his dirty little secret and hopefully we have put a end to that. So life should calm down.
It's cool out and perfect weather for a bike ride. So ride we will as far as I can get. I lost 2 pounds on our trip from all that traipsing up and down those huge hills taking pictures. Don't want it finding its way back home to my jelly belly.
So I will end with a joke for women. Tomorrow one for the guys OK.
Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, but there's no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each day with the following exercises a week before the exam, you will be totally prepared for the test -- and best of all -- you can do these simple practice exercises right in your home.
EXERCISE ONE: Open your refrigerator door and insert one breast between the door and the main box. Have one of your strongest friends slam the door shut as hard as possible -- and then lean on the door for good measure. Hold that position for five seconds. Repeat again in case the first time wasn't effective enough.
EXERCISE TWO: Go into your garage at 3 a.m. when the temperature of the cement floor is just right. Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the floor with one breast wedged under the rear of the car. Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is sufficiently flattened and chilled. Turn over and repeat for the other breast.
EXERCISE THREE: Freeze two metal bookends overnight. Strip to the waist. Invite a stranger into the room. Press the bookends together as hard as you can. Set an appointment with the stranger to meet next year and do it again.
You are now properly prepared. Final thoughts for women readers:

Glad things are out in the open now. I think I missed something...I don't know what BIL's secret is? I've been out of the loop I guess LOL!
Glad your wrist is feeling better!
Pam
Glad to hear your wrist is better hon. The air does feel cleaner, when things are out in the open now doesn't it? Anyway of getting BIL out of the house altogether? I truly despise the man. I've seen his type all too often. Glad to hear you MIL is doing better now as well. I get the sneaky suspicision that her son didn't take care of her well you where gone. (Hugs) Indigo
