Saturday's entry

                Thank you Meg  and  De
I am a rocking girl, ( tongue in cheek), rocker!

I am going to have to look around to see who I read that hasn't gotten this.  I love everyone I read.  Is there a rocking guy one?  Anyway thanks Gina and De, you both really rock.

I nominate another Gina  We both share this difficult journey of weight loss.

Jeanie   My friend across the pond with her beautiful photo's.   Someday I will visit that beautiful country.

Jeanette  Another friend across the pond who shares her wonderful country with pictures and has the prettiest cats in the world.

Sunny  We are all in this weight loss thing together.

Shelly   Love the way her mind thinks!

I got low census last night which is wonderful as I have things to do.  A friend of mine's son was killed in a car accident.  We are so saddened about the news.  Just a wonderful young man.  I want to get a card and call her to see what I can do.  The services are viewing Monday and service on Tuesday so we can go.

My MIL's friend passed away.  She was shocked to read it in the paper.  The family forgot to call her.  Every Sunday this woman would come down and we had many a wonderful game of hand and foot.  So a double whammy this week.  My MIL wanted to go to the service but it was OOT and she is too weak to make it.

Rick went ona long bike ride yesterday, about 35 miles.  It was extremely hot and I got a call that he needed me to pick him up.  Just ran out of strength and was back into A-fib again.  Why he picks the hottest days of the years to do this stuff.  I believe he had the same thing happen last year.  I gave him the riot act and then let his mother do it also, double riot act, LOL.

We only had 14 patients last night.  Very low.  Tonight I will get pulled to another floor.  Thats fine.  Patients are patients.  Its the people you work with that make it a good or bad night.

Take care all.  Have a good weekend.

Congratulations!  Rockin' Girl Blogger.

Sometimes we are visited by too much grief Julie.  You wonder why such a young life is taken....it seems so unfair when all their lives seem to be ahead of them.  I'm so sorry to hear of Betty's good friend passing away. How awful she wasn't told. I suppose her family were grieving too much to think of everything.  At least she will be there waiting for her when her time comes.  I pray for your strength and your husbands to hold up until then.   Fondest good wishes.
Jeanie
p.s.  You do right berating him for going so far on his own!  Padlock his wheels until he learns...men!     xx
