Catching up
I finally have gotten slightly caught up. As of today I am once again licensed to be a nurse for the next 3 years. It only cost me $160.00. Boy does my work owe me. But it is a small price to pay actually for what I get out of my job.
So all day I tested. Yesterday I briefly stopped by the auction. They had some nice items, but nothing that would be worth picking up for the shop. That is a shame because I there are no good auctions coming up on my weekend. The weekend I work, lots of wonderful auctions with all kinds of things that would be perfect. Sigh.
Went to my MIL's yesterday but otherwise just tried to survive the heat. It is in the 90's and high humidity. Any kind of movement makes me wringing wet with sweat. Time to purchase a new kiddy pool.
This kiddy wants ones, bad. Wednesday it is suppose to be 100+. You stick you lawn chair in that, bare feet in the cold water and close your eyes and instantly your at the beach, sun on your skin, waves lapping at your tanned bikini clad body, handsome lifeguard serving you a drink with an umbrella......and then you open your eyes......
Well its late, time to hit the bed and read for awhile. I leave you with one of my favorite bird shots. Take care all.

wow! can't believe how much it costs you for your nursing license....i think alabama's was 80 bucks last year, and i thought that was high. i've been wanting to go to the beach really bad lately...maybe i should try your temporary solution. lol love the photos.

I love everything about the first picture. It is beautiful. That nurses license is pretty high but I have no idea what they cost elsewhere. That kiddie pool is a neat idea. Your other pictures are good also. Sorry that you didn't find anything you wanted at the auction. Helen
BEAUTIFUL sunset! I don't think the nurses in AL have to get relicensed every few years. They do have to take so many hours of classes, but I don't think they have to renew. It's probably not a bad idea, though. On days like this, I'd like a backyard pool myself!

Oh yes, a lawn chair in a an inflatable pool is a wonderful backyard substitute. <grin> Makes you want to start singing "Lazy Hazy Days Of Summer".
Caregivingly Yours, Patrick
Beautiful pictures! Love the rainbow in the first. At least now the testing is behind you and you don't have to worry about it for another 3 years. Sorry nothing worthwhile is at the auctions while your off. Wishing you love and peace! (Hugs) Indigo
Lol.... Time to get the kiddy pool out!! I always dreamed of having a real one in the backyard, but it's going to be another year of the blow up kind!! Where is the blow up life guard, by the way? :) Julie
You've talked me into buying one....I think I'd really enjoy that! LOL!
Have a good day.

have a good week:)

You know, spread out over the three years, that is not too bad for a certification which is needed for your source of income. At least now you don't have to worry about it for a while.

Loved the first photo...loved the beauty within it. I am so happy for you, your awesome as a nurse...love hearing all about your days...and your home life. The pool will surely be enjoyed....it is so hot here...humidity is rough. Hard to breath in this mess. Hope you have a great midweek...doing my catching up too...hugs and love,
Joyce
