Low Day
This morning we went to my friends son funeral. It was a full military funeral with a 21 gun salute and all. The service was very nice and there were hundreds of people there. In his short 20 years Adam touched many lives. He had so many awards and metals and was much admired.
That just totally wore me out emotionally. Between the viewing last night and the service. My poor friends. My heart breaks for them.
I work tonight and tomorrow. I tried to rest this afternoon but I absolutely never can nap. My husband can nap at the blink of an eye but I don't seem to have that knack.
My MIL continues to worsen. She looks pretty yellow now and is having increased discomfort. We are going over more and more often and the day is fast approaching where we will be moving in as she is starting to require more care. My BIL is cooking occasionally for her but he sleeps until noon or later and goes out for hours at night. I don't like her being alone that long, even if she is just sleeping. Since he refuses to tell us when he will be going out and doesn't go until she is asleep it is hard to know when she is alone so Rick has been going over to check each night.
Well, I have to finish supper and get ready for work. I am way behind on everyones journal but will catch up on my days off. Everyone have a great week.
By the way. I haven't seen any little dead baby animals so they must have survived their drenching. Thank goodness. Oh, and are the photo journals down? It says I have no pictures. I hope I haven't lost all 400 pictures.

Surely you haven't lost all your pics! Prolly just an AOL glitch they are working on. ((((((Julie))))) You have had a rough day. I hope tonight goes well for you.
Yes..you must be emotionally drained.. So sad.. AOL told me I didn't have pictures either... Take care - Julie
I came across your journal and I wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss, I will keep you and your friend in my prayers.
hugs
Sherry
You have a lot on your plate at the moment Julie. I am so sorry you are going through such a low time. Poor Betty too. I just so wish your BIL was more understanding of her needs. Its such a worry for you when you don't know her circumstances all the time. I wish he had stayed away and then you would have been able to monitor her properly. I hope work tonight is not to hard on you. You need a wee break from stressful situations. Thinking of you and praying for Betty's comfort. Hugs and God Bless. Jeanie xx
I just can't figure your BIL out. He came to help MIL, right? He's nothing but a nuisance, though. I'm sorry she's getting worse. I know it is hard to watch it.
Take care,
Pam
Your BIL is so calous. How could anyone treat their mother that way? Errrrrrrrrr! Sorry for the loss of your friend's son. I am thankful that young men and women believe in and fight for our freedom everyday. May God bless them. De ;)
