All rested.

I took one of the pictures I took last year and made this inspiration saying with it.  I used it as my mantra while I meditated after I woke up.

I slept about 6 straight hours which is good for me.  Sometimes I actually wish I could get a 24 hour bug so I would sleep for 18 hours or so and catch up, LOL  Then I did some stretches and my balancing exercises.  Did you know you balance starts to go in I think your 30's and losing your balance and falling is a huge cause of hip fractures.  Hip fractures used to be called the beginning of the end of the elderly.  So I am starting now to keep my balance in top form.  Walk on railroad tracks.  Close your eyes and stand on one foot.  I have a 3 by 3 outside I walk on.  Just a few minutes a day.

My scale is broke.  It only lasted a year darn thing so I am in the market for another.  I need a scale.  My mind is powerful.  Stronger then my eyes and common sense it can convince me I am losing weight even when my mirror and my clothes say otherwise.  I need that weigh in to keep me on track.  Although it wasn't going down fast it wasn't going up.  So this weekend I am looking for another.  Something cheap but good.

Last night of work.  I put in for low census, I can dream which would be nice, but if I can't get it that will be fine. I can do another day and to only do 8 hours seems like childs play, lol.

Take care all.  I am starting to catch up on journals.

I like your mantra, and it goes very well with the picture.  Glad you got some rest, but I know exactly how you feel.  You want nothing more than to sleep until you just feel like getting up, but the minute your mind starts to work, you think of all the things that need to be done...at that point, sleep is over.

I like your mantra and as for the training on a balance beam....I am already on that wibbly wobbly slope of cockling over already; and I don't have my eyes shut either....lol!
Sleep eluded me last night.  I maybe had four  one hour snatches as I had a a visit from the 'tropical heatwaves' on and off ....lol!   The strange thing is I never hanker after my bed much throughout the day when I miss out on sleep like this.
My weight keeps yoyoing by a couple of pounds either way.   I just love my bread and butter.
I too am a great believer in positive thinking Julie.  Negativitiy just drags you down.  Hope all goes well at your home and Betty's.   Hugs   Jeanie xxxx

Hello, My name is Denise and I am 55 years old. I should fight my weight all the time, but I don't. I just give up most of the time. I was looking for weight loss journals, when I came across your. Maybe if I write down what I eat and how I feel about it, I can get some of this fat off too. I do good at work all day, but when I get home when I really mess up have a blessed day
