giggles

We ran across these at my MIL's.  So funny.  And yes, Rick did get his cement truck.  He had just turned 6 in the first letter and 7 in the last.  It gave him quite the laugh to see these.

I love going though things like that.  I got to do it recently when my Mom was cleaning out her closets.  I saw many things that were just like this letter, and could remember writing every one of them.

I agree, priceless. What wonderful memories such little things hold.

I have memerobilia like this too.   I love the stamp with the date on it.  That will be a collectors piece one day too.  If not already so.
Its just wonderful knowing that other mothers hang on to thesame things that meant the most to them as their children grew up.  These mementoes are more valuable to us than the crown jewels.  They speak of  all our love and pride in our children.
This was a special entry and I thank you for sharing it.
Much love

Hi Julie....I'm finally here!! I'm making my rounds to catch up and get alerts turned back on.....you are now up and running in Poohville :)
I read back a little and saw that your MIL passed while I was on my depression sabbatical, and I'm so sorry I wasn't here to offer you any prayers & hugs. I can only imagine how it feels to be going through her private things.....and yet, it has to be done. I know you were of great comfort to her as her illness progressed and that was her true blessing. Better days are ahead Julie.....one day at a time.

Pooh Hugs,
Linda
