My first shot

There is much to learn.  Button not where I expect them to be.  Downloading pictures completely different the I am used too.  The battery only took 2 hours the first time.  I have found cheaper on line.  So ta da.  Rick hates the picture but look how clear it is.

Good ole camo shirt...men's favorite :-)

I can always count on giving the "perfect" gift to my boyfriend if it's camo.

My Canon battery recharges in two hours too, it's nice to get one that fast! The picture's great, very clear. That's what amazed me about mine ~ I can see the individual hairs on my cat photos! Enjoy practising with it! Jeannette xx

That picture is extremely clear and crisp.  My son got a Canon at Best Buy a few years ago when my oldest daughter worked there while going to college.  He got the extended warranty extremely cheap for three years.  His camera died, which is very unusual for Canon's.  They didn't have the same one in stock, of course, so he had a few hundred to use toward a new one.  It was last year so he was able to get a far better Canon for the money since they seem to get less expensive for as time goes on.  The pictures are so clear.  Actually, my daughter still uses her oldest one which is only 2 or 3 megapixels.  Those pictures are also amazingly crisp.  I think you will be loving this one.  Chris

I think that is a great shot. Well done, now go get out and get some nature pictures today. You won't have to go very far. Just your backyard to start with. Helen

The shot is excellent. Poor Rick looks like a deer caught in the headlights.

i'm already planning on a new canon.  lol  seriously....one of these days.  i've said more than once i really wish i had put into one really nice camera instead of splitting my monies for the two i have.  however....they weren't bought at the same time and they are good cameras....guess i'm just never satisfied?  :)  anyway...i'm very proud for you and glad you are having so much fun learning to use it.
