I am one of those people who gets words mixed up. I will tell my husband I am going to mow the carpet and vacumn the grass. Today I actually did vacumn the grass! A rogue wind lifting up my umbrella on my patio table and crashed it down again shattering the glass. So there I was with my shop vac doing the grass, be careful what you say, it may come true.
My husband is picking up my BIL today. Let the fun begin. I should be getting my puter back tonight or tomorrow. Yah

I wish you'd got pics of you vacuuming the grass! Lol! I bet you can't wait to get back online again! Jeannette xx
good luck:)
Deb
The cats run for cover when I vacuum, I can only imagine what they would do if I cranked up the 6hp Craftsman in the living room.
Greg
I wish you luck on the homefront with BIL there.
Pam
I will be thinking of you all Julie, even while away on my hols. I hope this visit of your BIL cheers Betty up and you don't get too wound up either. Take care and deep breaths too.
If you vacuum your lawn after cutting it it helps make it weed free and lush. Iread that somewhere and tried it. Bryan dashed out and 'felt my collar' saying folks will think I'd gone round the bend....Lol! That's keen gardening for you.....lol!
See you when I get home again. Bye! Jeanie
Hang in there and good luck with the BIL. Hope your computer is working soon. De ;)
LOL...I talk backwards all the time. I'm chuckling, although it's not funny, at shop vaccing the grass. Lots of luck with your BIL. Chris
Don't laugh.....I read this and a light went off in my head. I have a pathway I put along side my house with red chips and huge river stones. The last time Doc used the mower I ended up with grass all over the path and in the chips. I was not a happy camper. I couldn't sweep it up , nothing worked to any avail. Then I read about you vacumning the grass, yep you got it, I went and got my dustbuster and it worked it vacumned up the dry grass and left the wood chips. So thanks for that little tidbit. Albeit the neighbors looked at me like I had a screw loose somewhere LOL! Keep us up to date on the BIL situation, somehow I just get the feeling he's going to be more trouble than help. (Hugs)Indigo
Oh my....how terrible about the wind...and the damage. I am like you...I say many things like that...the kids in the house tease me all the time. Glad no one got hurt...have a better week ahead...many hugs,
Joyce
