I find myself getting antsy and distracted. Waiting for the day to get here. Thinking about all the little things we still need to do. It is bad having to work every day until the trip. I will have one day to get everything packed and ready. We have to have a good plan on what to do if they can't get the hitch on the van. I have a great bike rack. Just no way to put in on the van and I am not taking the old van up there. We will probably have to store the bikes in the van which takes up so much room.
Work is going well. Very very busy. It is making the time fly. During break I was looking at the TV in the break room. One of those infomercial. Reminded me again why I don't have TV. Tell me. Why should we have to pay for them to advertise to me. And if your paying for TV why should there be commercials anyway? I maybe could understand it when TV was free and easy, but now that you pay a fortune..... why commercial? They should be paying me, and plenty at that, to watch all the crap they advertise. That is why I don't wear name brand clothes with their logo all over it. If they want me to advertise there product, pay me.
I see these cars with advertising wraps on them. They ARE paid to do that. Now that I might do. If I liked the product. But this insanity of paying them to let me watch their stupid infomercial.....no way.
Ok, off the soap. Guess I am not ready to get a TV yet. Every time I think about it briefly I remember the things that make me mad.
Rick is grilling supper and we are having a pot luck at work tonight. BLT's with fresh tomatoes and homemade bread. Yummy. I will probably get pulled to an different floor tonight. Our census is low. So hopefully won't be so busy I can't get to it.
Well, supper is ready. I love it when someone else cooks for me. Its good to be the Goddess, LOL.

Lovely photos. Well, we watch the BBC a lot over here and they do not have commercials. I hope the day never comes when they do.
beautiful photos! i had to look twice at the top one....looked like an eye and nose of some critter. as i was trying to figure out what, i suddenly realized it was a butterfly! lol

I'm right there with you about the advertising thing. I understand their desire to get the name out, but if you are going to have it plastered all over your clothes, car, or house....there needs to be a good deal of reimbursement going on.

I thought the butterfly was a lizard too! :) I just realized that I'm leaving for Vegas next Monday.. Damn.. This summer is just whizzing by, and there never seems enough time to get prepared for it! Have a good night at work! Julie
I feel the same way you do about designer clothes. I never bought them for my kids (who are now 26 & 28), would always tell them they could buy their own as soon as they got a job.
I am so looking forward to your vacation too! Can't wait to see pictures, especially of your bike rides. I am an avid photographer too, but my interest has waned in the last years.

Beautiful photos! you get sum really great shots i love 'em!...now i have a tv but usually only watch sports, and then i usually have the tv muted with the radio on while i'm busy doing other things i HATE commercials don't watch or listen to those damn things ..keep counting down the days!~kbear
