What a lovely evening we had. The best way to enjoy an evening like this is not to think about the calories. When you find yourself at the gates to heaven and talking to St. Peters he is not going to ask you if you stayed on your calorie restriction. He is going to ask you if you had a good run. If you lived your life to its fullest. Nights like this you can look back on and say....Oh Yah. It was a good night and I have no idea how many calories I consumed.
Started out at Sweet Fannies. The Widmers beer was freshly tapped and so good. It went perfect with the corn beef and cabbage with pototoes. Irish music was playing overhead and we visited with friends and had a good time. I finished off the evening with a wonderful Beamish Irish Stout.
When we returned home we had a romantic ending with a bottle of Raspberry Lambic
The taste was clean and refreshing and went perfect with the Brie I warmed and Gloucester Stilton Cheese on Wafer Biscuits. Yummy. I love cheese and crackers on a relaxing evening with the man I love. So much nicer then work. We watched a movie and munched happily ending a great day off.
Did I get any housework done.....well duh....No. Do I care? Double no.
Now I am ready for bed. Fat and sassy and relaxed. Tomorrow I work again for 2 nights but I feel like I got my soul settled down again. Don't know why I will feel tomorrow as that is alot to drink for me but it was worth it. I am off to work tomorrow
Ta all ye lads and lassies.

I am glad that you and Rick had a nice time out. You both deserved it. Helen
Excellent Julie. I enjoyed that song and the photo montage on the video. I hope you and Rick didn't suffer afterwards as much as they did. Lol!
Isn't it lovely to just get out and enjoy the ambience with each other and with friends?
I'm glad you had a good 'run at life' last night. Wish I had been there...I would have done a wee Irish Jig with you all. Fine girl ye are! Lol!

Sounds like you had a terrific St. Patrick's Day!!! You are right about St. Peter. I doubt if he has a scale there waiting for all of us! :) Have a great rest of the week! :) Julie
I just absolutely love a good stout beer and corn beef, cabbage and potatoes to boot. Glad you had such a good time. The Raspberry Lambic and Brie sounds heavenly also. Now that's a St. Patrick's Day for me. Chris
Man, I wish I had gone with you guys. Sounds like a neat evening.
