I am rich beyond imagination

........at least according to my spam mail.   I have won lotteries across the world.  I didn't even have to enter them or spend a dime.  I have people who want to be my partner if I will only cash their very large check that they inherited from their king father who had it in hiding.  I can have any loan I want for the very smallest of interest rates and return, heck I can have it for nothing.

All I have to do to collect my fortune is click on the blue line.  Click and I can be rich.  Click and I can have all that is my due.  My finger wavers over the enter butter....... Visions of all my bills float in my head.   Visions of calling my job and tell them that regretfully I must resign effective immediately.   Visions of showering my friends and relatives with gifts fit for a king.

Then.....pop, the visions explode, my head clears and common sense reels its ugly but welcome head.  My Mom's words echo in my mind.  Julia, if it sounds too good to be true.....It probably is.   But the dream was nice.  The dream was real nice.   So my finger shifts to the other key,  the delete permanently key and next my mind wanders next to wondering what kind of people hit the key to their dreams.....or their next nightmare.   Was I ever that trusting?   Not for a long time.

LOL...I rarely get spam mail anymoe because the junk mail gets tos'd or thrown into my spam mail box by me.  It's weeded itself out.  Wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy to move ahead?  Chris

....DREAMS  are made of things like spam mail........when we were kids we dreamed all of these things and now they try to trick us into believing it cn be achieved by clicking on the blue line! LOL    I always wanted a rich uncle.........well, none existed!

Hi, Julie,  love the entry!  Like your humor and seleciton of title.   What a great way to poke fun at a frustrating phenomena on the internet email.   I send a lot to spam and sometimes think about changing my email from time to time. ...but then how will people who I don't communicate with very often find me?  So I keep my old email and get smart to all the tricks and never click on anything in an email that offers me riches beyond my dreams or anything for nothing.  It's worked so far.  Oh and just catching up with your journal...what beautiful photos you have of the countryside.   You make me want to go bike riding too.  ..and congrats on your quit smoking anniversary!  Yahoo to you!   Maria

I dream of a fortune every time I have to take one of the cats to the vets.......Then I realize each one that survives to give love in return is more than any fortune I could hope for. (Hugs) Indigo
