My BIL has supposedly stopped drinking. Hubby's relative left some wine and beer over at my MIL and we went to get it so there was no temptation, the wine was gone. He was so bad when my FIL was sick. I am sick about this.
I don't suppose for one minute he's stopped drinking. It's rarely the case and a lot of people who drink too much lie about the amount they drink. I'd be very wary of him, which I know you are. Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
Sorry there's so much stress in your life. As nurses, we have unlimited abilities to cope with stress.....not so when it's our family. Take care of yourself first. My best wishes!
Oh gosh.. Why would a relative leave beer and wine? Don't they know Bil might be tempted? Do they think your Mil would enjoy it?! Insane. Worry will make you sick---take time for you. Julie
I didn't think he was exactly sober, by the pictures I've seen of him. At the very least now you have proof and the truth of the matter is out. I feel for you and your husband now you have to watch him even more and worry about him drinking and not taking care of your MIL. (Hugs) Indigo
